The Uxbridge Bruins' Korey Brand had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 4-1 win over the Georgina Ice.

Brand scored at 16:11 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Uxbridge and again while short handed 5:16 into the second to make the score 3-0 Uxbridge.

Uxbridge's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Georgina power plays.

Uxbridge also got a goal from Tim Bierema as well. In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Marco Mastrangelo, who had three and Carter Vahey, Liam Blais APM, and Connor Beck, who contributed one a piece.

Georgina was led by JD Leblond, who scored the team's only goal. Leblond scored 2:56 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Uxbridge. Curtis Puhalski picked up the assist.

The Bruins incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Ice incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Georgina ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jody Nonnewitz was ejected from the game.
