Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as the Little Britain Merchants defeated the Uxbridge Bruins in a shootout 3-2 (1-0 SO).

Little Britain pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 30 penalty minutes.

In a losing effort, Uxbridge was sparked by Tim Bierema, who registered two goals. Bierema scored the first of his two goals at 10:17 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge. Marco Mastrangelo provided the assist. Bierema's next tally made the score 2-2 with 10:25 left in the second period. A cross checking penalty on Jesse Beers had put the Bruins on the power play. Carter Vahey picked up the assist.

The Merchants were helped by Riley Jenkins, who finished with one goal. Jenkins scored on the power play 47 seconds into the second period to make the score 1-1. Rory McDowell provided the assist. Little Britain also got a goal from Nate Huhges as well. More assists for Little Britain came via Aidan Renouf, who had one.

Team could not crack Little Britain's penalty kill and was held to one power play goal while having 10 opportunities to play with the man advantage.

In addition, Uxbridge received assists from Korey Brand, who had two.

The Merchants registered one goal on six power play opportunities. Uxbridge incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
