The Uxbridge Bruins survived a determined comeback attempt by the Port Perry Mojacks on the way to a 4-2 win.

Uxbridge took a 4-1 lead during the third period, only to have Port Perry storm back on a Owen Bateman goal 16:47 into the third period to pull to two goals down.

Marco Mastrangelo had one goal and two assists to lead the Bruins. Mastrangelo scored 7:52 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Uxbridge. Korey Brand assisted on the tally.

Uxbridge excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances.

Uxbridge additionally got points from Brand, who also had one goal and two assists. Others who scored for Uxbridge included Liam Blais APM and Matthew Allen, who each put in one. More assists for Uxbridge came via Carter Vahey and Justin Dube, who each chipped in one.

The Mojacks were helped by Jeff St. Pierre, who racked up one goal. St. Pierre scored 15:28 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Uxbridge. Tyler Jennings picked up the assist.

The Bruins incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. For Uxbridge, Jeremy Toupin APM was ejected from the game. Port Perry ended with 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major. The Mojacks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Jennings was ejected from the game.
