Clarington forced Georgina's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, launching 47 shots and forcing 38 saves. Ethan Slimowitz made 25 stops and Tyler Richardson made 13. The Eagles put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Ice to score on any of their four power plays. Clarington's defensive effort looked to be improved.
