Graham Lamers was all over the ice for the Port Perry Mojacks, as he tallied two goals in Port Perry's 5-1 win over the Clarington Eagles. Lamers' tallies came at 2:02 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Perry and 2:52 into the second to make the score 2-0 Port Perry.The Mojacks' Jeff Julien was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 33 saves and let only one puck past him. The solid play of Julien will be reflected in his goals against average, which pre-game was 2.25. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 19:59 into the third period. Eight fighting penalties were dished out along with six game misconducts. Port Perry stifled Clarington's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Team's Clark and Owen Bateman were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game. Clarington's starting goalie, CJ Sharp, made 25 saves and finished with the loss before he was taken out in favor of Connor Visca, who stopped zero shots. The Eagles totaled 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors and two majors and went 0-for-3 on the power play. For Clarington, Bradley Dell and Thomas Garrity were ejected from the contest.
