The Lakefield Chiefs were firing on all cylinders against the Georgina Ice, and when the final buzzer sounded Chiefs emerged with a 6-1 win.

Lakefield was sparked by Derek Manley, who finished with one goal. Manley scored 16:41 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Lakefield. Eric Shewell assisted on the tally.

Georgina also got a goal from Luke Vanderkooy as well. More assists for Georgina came via Devon Smith, who had one.

Zach Wainman recorded 18 saves for the Chiefs. Lakefield totaled 25 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
