Brady's goals lift xKingston to 4-1 victory over Stouffville

Adam Brady had two goals to lead the xKingston Voyageurs to a 4-1 victory over the Stouffville Spirit.

Brady's tallies came on the power play at 3:45 into the first period to make the score 1-0 xKingston and on the power play 6:03 into the first to make the score 2-0 xKingston.

xKingston was led by goalie Sam Tanguay, who finished with 30 saves while allowing one goal. Tanguay managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.77 prior to the game.

The Voyageurs forced Stouffville's goalies to work between the pipes, getting 44 shots and forcing 40 saves. Tim Bester made 16 stops and Daniel Mannella made 24. xKingston put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Spirit to score on any of their three power plays.

xKingston additionally got points from Adam Moodie, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Wyatt Cota also scored for xKingston. Other players who recorded assists for xKingston were Michael Crocock, Michael Stevens, Brett Seney, Brandon OQuinn, and Alex Tonge, who each chipped in one.

Stouffville forced the Voyageurs goalie Tanguay to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots.

Stouffville also got a goal from Kyler Challis as well. In addition, Stouffville received assists from Graham Pickard, who had one.

xKingston incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Spirit incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors.
