The xMilton Icehawks' TJ Fergus scored 33 seconds into overtime to beat the xPickering Panthers, 4-3 (OT).

xMilton's penalty kill excelled, as the Icehawks gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

xMilton was led by Fergus, who registered one goal.

The Icehawks stifled xPickering's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. xMilton kept the Panthers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Steven Dombrosky made 32 saves on 36 shots.

Shane Bennett also scored for xMilton. Other players who recorded assists for xMilton were Alex Riche, Jake Baird, Jeremy Gottzmann, Daniel Poutsoungas, and Michael Andlauer, who contributed one a piece.

xPickering excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. The Icehawks were unable to stop the Panthers from sending pucks towards the net, and xPickering eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.

The Panthers were helped by Michael Giacometti, who grabbed one goal. Giacometti scored 17:44 into the third period to make the score 3-3. Mike Nedoszytko picked up the assist. Others who scored for xPickering included Mark Tenuta and Nicholas Lepone, who each put in one. More assists for xPickering came via Cam Palmer, Robert Cammalleri, Keegan Ackerland, and Brodie Tutton, who each chipped in one.

Ben Blacker rejected 34 shots on goal for xMilton. The Icehawks incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. xPickering incurred 24 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
