Calvin Higley had two points to lead the yAurora Tigers to a 4-1 victory over the Hamilton Red Wings.

yAurora's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Hamilton power plays. Hamilton was unable to stop the Tigers from sending pucks towards the net, and yAurora eventually piled up 44 shots on goal.

Michael Laidley also scored for yAurora. In addition, yAurora received assists from Taylor McCloy, who had two, Dylan Sikura, who had three, and Curtis Warren and Robert Angiolella, who contributed one a piece.

The Red Wings were led by Luke Sinclair, who scored the team's only goal. Sinclair scored 6:33 into the third period to make the score 3-1 yAurora. Nathan Gomes assisted on the tally.

Andy Munroe recorded 23 saves for the Tigers. yAurora incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Mark Sinclair made 40 saves for Hamilton on 44 shots. The Red Wings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
