Zackery Landsfield was all over the ice for the Mississauga Chargers, as he tallied two goals in Mississauga's 7-4 win over the Milton Icehawks. Landsfield found the back of the net 14:11 into the third period to make the score 4-4 and again while on the power play 17:21 into the third to make the score 6-4 Mississauga.The Chargers kept Milton's goalie busy throughout the game, and Ben Blacker made 33 saves on 40 shots. Mississauga surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Chargers have scored at the pace of 3.4 goals per game during the current campaign. Others who scored for Mississauga included Stefano Alonzi, Cory Hyashi, Lucas Venuto, Mitch Mehling, and Thomas Lattavo, who each put in one. More assists for Mississauga came via Ayrton Valente, who had two and Aaron Dutra, Galli Austin, Trevor Warnaar, Jackson Howe, Tyler Cooper, Nick Tetley, Vince Figliomeni, and Matt Hore, who each chipped in one. The Icehawks' offense rang up 31 shots on Mississauga's net. Milton was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 18 penalty minutes. The Icehawks were helped by Josh Pace, who grabbed one goal. Pace scored 10:08 into the second period to make the score 3-2 Mississauga. Jake Baird provided the assist. Milton also got points from Baird, who also registered one goal and one assist. Milton also had goals scored by Alex Riche and Kane Elliot, who scored one goal each. In addition, Milton received assists from Daniel Poutscongas, who had two and Tyler Burns, Bryce Abraham, Jeremy Gottzmann, Ryan Burns, and Michael Andlauer, who contributed one a piece. Milton registered one goal on two power play opportunities. For the Icehawks, Poutscongas was ejected from the game.
