Nathan Feric had two goals and one assist to lead Toronto Lakeshore. Feric scored the first of his two goals at 4:55 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Toronto Lakeshore. The Red Wings had gotten the advantage when Toronto Lakeshore's Feric was sent off for cross checking. Alex Zaccaria assisted on the tally. Hamilton additionally got points from Corey Caruso, who also registered one goal and one assist. Hamilton also got a goal from Nathan Gomes as well.

The Patriots' Jeremy Helvig stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that he faced. Toronto Lakeshore incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Hamilton incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
