Aurora squeaks by Pickering, 4-2

The game between the Aurora Tigers and the Pickering Panthers was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Aurora emerged with a 4-2 win.

Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Kory Kennedy secured the win for the Tigers with a goal in the third period.

Kennedy was all over the ice for Aurora, as he tallied two goals in the win.

Aurora additionally got points from Taylor McCloy, who also had one goal and one assist. Aurora also got a goal from Curtis Warren as well. In addition, Aurora received assists from Dylan Sikura, who had two and Austin Rigney and Calvin Higley, who contributed one a piece.

Pickering was helped by Mike Nedoszytko, who finished with one goal. Nedoszytko scored 14:36 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pickering. Mark Tenuta picked up the assist. Riley Devine also scored for Pickering. More assists for Pickering came via Cam Palmer, Brent Tuchner, and Brodie Tutton, who each chipped in one.

Kevin Entmaa rejected 23 shots on goal for the Tigers. Aurora incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. The Panthers' Steven Dombrosky stopped 24 shots out of the 27 that he faced. Pickering incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
