The Orangeville Flyers climbed out of a two-goal hole to beat the Hamilton Red Wings, 3-2. Orangeville never led in the game until netting the game winner. The Flyers was down 2-0 after a goal by Hamilton's Cole Poliziani at 38 seconds in the second period. Orangeville tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Devon Gillham at 18:03 in the second period. The Flyers scored the game winner at 9:54 in the third period on a goal by Gillham. The Red Wings' power play was ineffective against Orangeville's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.
