Aurora beats Georgetown 4-0 as Entmaa gains shutout

Kevin Entmaa recorded a shutout against the Georgetown Raiders as the Aurora Tigers picked up a 4-0 win.

Aurora got the win behind a great game by Robert Angiolella, who had two goals and one assist. Angiolella scored the first of his two goals at 14:25 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Aurora. Calvin Higley picked up the assist. Angiolella's next tally made the score 4-0 Aurora with 2:33 left in the third period. Michael Keenan provided the assist.

The Tigers stifled Georgetown's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Aurora featured an improved defense during the game. The Tigers allow 2.3 goals per game.

Aurora additionally got points from Kory Kennedy, who also had one goal and one assist and Eric Williams, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Aurora were Dylan Sikura, who had one.

The Raiders' offense operated below they season average. Georgetown averages 3.5 goals per game. The Raiders' penalty kill was ineffective, and let in two goals to Aurora's power play unit.

Entmaa rejected 30 shots on goal for the Tigers. Aurora incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. Michael McNiven made 13 saves for Georgetown on 16 shots. The Raiders incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
