Liscio leads Trenton over Georgetown, 6-2

Danny Liscio was all over the ice for the Trenton Golden Hawks, as he tallied one goal and two assists in Trenton's 6-2 win over the Georgetown Raiders.

Liscio got on the board by slotting home a goal 12:07 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Trenton. Fabrizio Ricci picked up the assist. Liscio dished an assist on Nick Santoro's goal that made the score 2-1 Trenton at 2:54 into the second period. He added another helper on Zach de Concilys's goal that made the score 4-1 Trenton at 7:18 into the third period.

Trenton additionally got points from Santoro, who also had two goals and one assist to lead the team in points. Trenton also got a goal from Brady Wiffen as well. Other players who recorded assists for Trenton were Chrisitian Lloyd, Tyler Sehovic, and Hunter Fargey, who each chipped in one and Tyler Donaldson and Jason Zaleski, who contributed two a piece.

Georgetown stifled the Golden Hawks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

The Raiders were helped by John Adams, who finished with one goal. Adams scored on the power play 11:33 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Trenton. Georgetown had taken the advantage when Trenton's Nick Boddy got sent off for slashing. Anthony Marra provided the assist. Steve Hladin also scored for Georgetown. In addition, Georgetown received assists from Liam Clare and Liam Board, who each chipped in one.

The Golden Hawks' Denny Dubblestyne stopped 13 shots out of the 15 that he faced. Trenton incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Michael McNiven made 21 saves for the Raiders on 26 shots. Georgetown incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
