Devine lifts Pickering over Lindsay, 4-1

Riley Devine had two goals to lead the Pickering Panthers to a 4-1 victory over the Lindsay Muskies.

Devine's tallies came short handed at 4:12 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Pickering and short handed 15:51 into the second to make the score 2-0 Pickering.

Pickering's Steven Dombrosky was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Dombrosky managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.38 prior to the game.

Lindsay was unable to stop the Panthers from sending pucks towards the net, and Pickering eventually piled up 33 shots on goal.

Pickering also got a goal from Mark Tenuta as well. Other players who recorded assists for Pickering were Michael Walker, who had three and Robert Cammalleri, Mike Nedoszytko, and Brodie Tutton, who each chipped in one.

The Muskies could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Lindsay puts an average of 3.3 pucks into the net per game.

The Muskies were led by Brandon Washer, who scored the team's only goal. Washer scored on the power play 6:39 into the third period to make the score 2-1 Pickering. Lindsay had gained a power play chance when Walker was whistled for elbowing. Joseph Vocino assisted on the tally.

The Panthers incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Mathew Robson recorded 29 saves for the Muskies. Lindsay incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
