Taylor McCloy was all over the ice for the Aurora Tigers, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Aurora's 5-2 win over the Burlington Cougars. McCloy scored at 1:16 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Aurora and again while short handed 8:09 into the third to make the score 4-2 Aurora.Aurora additionally got points from Dylan Sikura, who also registered one goal and one assist and Calvin Higley, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Alex Gilmour also scored for Aurora. In addition, Aurora received assists from Michael Keenan, Kyle Liu, and Robert Angiolella, who contributed one a piece and Michael Laidley and Curtis Warren, who each chipped in two. Burlington totaled 33 minutes in penalty time with four minors and one major and went 2-for-2 on the power play. Team's Kyle Kokotailo and Lepore were slapped with misconducts and ejected from the game.
