Whitby wins tough contest against Toronto Lakeshore, 6-4Westwood Arena Sat, Oct 26, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The game between the Whitby Fury and the Toronto Lakeshore Patriots was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Whitby emerged with a 6-4 win. No lead was more than two goals during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Greg Milner at 6:33 of the third period. The Fury were sparked by Mitch Emerson, who registered one goal and one assist. Emerson scored on the power play 10:42 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Whitby. A holding penalty on Cory Laver had put Whitby on the power play. Marcus Crawford provided the assist.
