Toronto boosted by Colitto's play in net, beats St. Michaels 4-1

The Toronto Junior Canadiens relied on the sparkling performance of Nathan Colitto in net to grab a 4-1 win against the St. Michaels Buzzers.

Toronto was sparked by Anthony Repaci, who racked up one goal. Repaci scored on the power play 9:35 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Toronto. A high sticking penalty on Matt Alvaro had put the Junior Canadiens on the power play. Daniel Volpe picked up the assist.

Toronto's offense rang up 40 shots on St. Michaels' net.

Toronto also got points from Nicholas Jarzabek, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Will Lawrence also scored for Toronto. More assists for Toronto came via Mark Spadafora, Connor Prudames, Paris Briscoe, and Aaron Spivak, who contributed one a piece.

The Buzzers could not produce up to they normal offensive output. St. Michaels puts an average of 3.2 pucks into the net per game. The Buzzers forced the Junior Canadiens goalie Colitto to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots.

Nathan Colitto made 32 saves for Toronto on 33 shots. The Junior Canadiens incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. George Argiropoulos recorded 36 saves for St. Michaels. The Buzzers incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
