Mark Sinclair recorded 17 saves for the Red Wings. Hamilton incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. For the Red Wings, Mitch Reid was ejected from the game. Daniel Lopapa made 14 saves for the Junior Canadiens on 17 shots. Toronto incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. The Junior Canadiens ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Michael Cuddemi was ejected from the game.
