BC Junior Canucks survives Boston Junior Bruins comeback, wins 4-3

Boston Junior Bruins tried its best to erase a three-goal deficit, but BC Junior Canucks would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 4-3.

BC Junior Canucks took a 4-1 lead during the second period, only to have Boston Junior Bruins storm back on a Culin Wilson goal 12:43 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Trevor Wong had a great game for BC Junior Canucks, netting two goals.

BC Junior Canucks could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 14 minutes in penalties during the game.

BC Junior Canucks also got a goal from Caedan Bankier as well. In addition, BC Junior Canucks received assists from Trevor Baron, who had one.

Boston Junior Bruins stifled BC Junior Canucks' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Boston Junior Bruins was helped by Colin Wenrich, who had two goals. Wenrich scored the first of his two goals at 5:00 into the second period to make the score 2-1 BC Junior Canucks. Wenrich's next tally made the score 4-2 BC Junior Canucks with 8:04 left in the third period. A hooking penalty on Ethan Samson had put Boston Junior Bruins on the power play. Dylan Fogg provided the assist. Boston Junior Bruins also got points from Wilson, who also racked up one goal and one assist.

BC Junior Canucks' Mason Dunsford stopped 16 shots out of the 19 that he faced. BC Junior Canucks registered zero goals on three power play opportunities. Layne Browning rejected 16 shots on goal for Boston Junior Bruins. Boston Junior Bruins incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
