The Carleton Place Canadians were firing on all cylinders against the Hawkesbury Hawks, and when the final buzzer sounded Canadians emerged with a 5-1 win. Carleton Place was led by goalie Justin Laforest, who finished with 25 saves while allowing one goal. Laforest managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.75 prior to the game. The Canadians were led by Craig Pefley, who racked up one goal. Pefley scored 12:23 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Carleton Place. Owen Stewart picked up the assist. Carleton Place stifled Hawkesbury's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Carleton Place additionally got points from Brett DAndrea, who also registered one goal and one assist. Carleton Place also got a goal from Stephen Cooney as well.
