Alexandre Savard-Belanger stood on his head and made 26 saves to lead the xOttawa Senators to a 2-1 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks.

xOttawa was paced by Matthew Dupont, who racked up one goal. Dupont scored on the power play 14:23 into the second period to make the score 2-1 xOttawa. The Senators had gotten the advantage when Hawkesbury's Jonathan Cyr was sent off for hooking. Ryan Collins provided the assist.

xOttawa was held below its usual level of production. The Senators average 4.1 goals per game.

xOttawa also got a goal from Yannick Crete as well. In addition, xOttawa received assists from Joe Shecter, Justin Charbonneau, and Zac Tierney, who each chipped in one.

The Hawks were led by Zach Car, who scored the team's only goal. Car scored on the power play 8:43 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Hawkesbury had gained a power play chance when Zackary Rheaume was whistled for roughing. Carl Faucher assisted on the tally.

xOttawa incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Hawks' Jean-Pascal Sabourin stopped 21 shots out of the 23 that he faced. Hawkesbury incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
