Andy Sturtz lifted the Carleton Place Canadians to a 6-3 victory with a hat trick against the Brockville Braves.

Sturtz's first goal came 5:35 into the first period. He then added goals at 6:26 into the second and at 10:47 into the second.

Carleton Place's penalty kill excelled, as the Canadians gave up one goal despite allowing seven power plays.

Carleton Place's offense rang up 34 shots on Brockville's net. The Canadians could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.
