Jacob Tugnutt recorded a shutout against the Hawkesbury Hawks as the Kemptville 73s picked up an 8-0 win.

Kemptville was led by Dean Galasso, who finished with one goal. Galasso scored 8:43 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Kemptville. Dylan Giberson provided the assist.

The 73s made Hawkesbury's netminders to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, launching 33 shots and forcing 25 saves. Gunner Rivers made 15 stops and Jean-Pascal Sabourin made 10. Kemptville's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Hawkesbury power plays. The 73s bested their season scoring average.
