The Carleton Place Canadians, who led by three goals at one point, survived a comeback attempt by the Kemptville 73s and clinched a 4-3 victory. Carleton Place led by three goals at one point and ended with the victory. The largest advantage in the game came when the Canadians' Stephen Bayliss's scored short handed at 9:19 in the second period to put Carleton Place up 3-0. Tyson Stewart had a great game for the Canadians, netting two goals. Carleton Place kept Kemptville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jacob Tugnutt made 34 saves on 38 shots. Carleton Place additionally got points from Brett DAndrea, who also registered one goal and one assist. In addition, Carleton Place received assists from Devin Campbell, Stephen Cooney, Andy Sturtz, Anthony McVeigh, Craig Pefley, Kelly Summers, and Evan Peterson, who contributed one a piece.
