Pembroke blows out Hawkesbury, 5-0Pembroke Memorial Center Sun, Jan 26, 2014 Story by Narrative Science.
The Pembroke Lumber Kings had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 5-0 win over the Hawkesbury Hawks. Pembroke was led by Steven Johnston, who racked up one goal and one assist. Johnston scored 15:37 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Pembroke. Kyle Shaw assisted on the tally. The Lumber Kings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Hawkesbury was unable to stop Pembroke from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumber Kings eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
