The game between the Pembroke Lumber Kings and the Brockville Braves was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Pembroke emerged with a 4-3 win. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Dylan Staples secured the win for the Lumber Kings with a goal in the third period. Pembroke was sparked by Staples, who grabbed one goal. Staples scored 5:11 into the third period to make the score 4-3 Pembroke. Mark Petaccio provided the assist. Pembroke additionally got points from Lucas Gonu, who also finished with one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Others who scored for Pembroke included Ryan Erickson and Keegan Harper, who scored one goal each. Other players who recorded assists for Pembroke were Colin Kruse, Felix Chamberland, Jordan Larson, Kyle Shaw, and Stephan Beauvais, who each chipped in one.
