Gloucester downs Pembroke, 6-3

The Gloucester Rangers beat the Pembroke Lumber Kings, 6-3.

Gloucester's goal total was higher than its season average. This season, the Rangers average 3.5 goals per contest.

Gloucester was helped by Vincent Guimond, who had one goal and two assists. Guimond scored 15:44 into the third period to make the score 5-3 Gloucester. Maximian Veronneau picked up the assist. Gloucester also got points from Ryan Kuffner, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Veronneau, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Greg Jansz, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Gloucester included Matt Foget and Matthieu Desautels, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Doug Johnston, T Beveridge, Dylan McDiarmid, Trevor Dulong, Chris Morgan, and Clark Veenstra, who contributed one a piece.

Pembroke kept the Rangers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Johnston made 31 saves on 34 shots.

The Lumber Kings were helped by Felix Chamberland, who finished with one goal and two assists. Chamberland scored 7:39 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Mark Petaccio assisted on the tally. Pembroke additionally got points from Petaccio, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Dylan Chase also scored for Pembroke. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Fraser Turner, who had one.

Gloucester incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. Darren Smith rejected 19 shots on goal for Pembroke. The Lumber Kings totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play. For Pembroke, Patrice Wren was ejected from the game.
