Brockville boosted by Pikul's play in net, beats Cumberland 3-1Brockville Memorial Centre Fri, Dec 13, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
Andrew Pikul had a standout game with 35 saves, and the Brockville Braves beat the Cumberland Grads 3-1. Brockville was led by Ryan Cusin, who tallied one goal and one assist. Cusin scored 19:01 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Brockville. Andrew Peski provided the assist. Cumberland was unable to stop the Braves from sending pucks towards the net, and Brockville eventually piled up 37 shots on goal. Others who scored for Brockville included Sean King and Ryan Walter, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Brockville were Anthony Walsh, who had two and Jonathan Power and Hayden Hulton, who contributed one a piece. Cumberland ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Brett Faber was ejected from the game.
