The Hawkesbury Hawks' Carl Faucher scored 3:36 into overtime to beat the Pembroke Lumber Kings, 6-5 (OT).

Hawkesbury came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Hawks fell behind 5-3 after a goal by Pembroke's Fraser Turner at 13:56 in the second period. Hawkesbury knotted things up at 5-5 on a goal by Yanik Laliberte at 13:59 in the third period.

The Hawks got the win behind a great game by Faucher, who had one goal and three assists.

Hawkesbury surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Hawks average 2.6 goals per contest.

Hawkesbury also got points from Zach Car, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Jonathan Cyr, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Francis Landers, who also tallied one goal and two assists, and Laliberte, who also had two goals and two assists. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from Daniel Brickley and Nicholas Legault, who contributed one a piece.
