Pembroke rolls over Ottawa, 4-1Pembroke Memorial Center Fri, Nov 01, 2013 Story by Narrative Science.
The Pembroke Lumber Kings had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-1 win over the Ottawa Senators. Ottawa was stymied by Pembroke netminder Darren Smith, who stopped 25 shots during the victory. Smith managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.87 prior to the game. The Lumber Kings were sparked by Darcy Haines, who registered one goal. Haines scored 5:15 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Pembroke. Dylan Staples picked up the assist.
