The Smiths Falls Bears' Daniel Lombardi scored 1:10 into overtime to beat the Hawkesbury Hawks, 2-1 (OT). Smiths Falls' Michael Pinios was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 26 saves and let only one puck past him. Pinios managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.86 prior to the game. The Bears were led by Lombardi, who had one goal. Smiths Falls stifled Hawkesbury's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bears forced the Hawks goalie Matthew Jenkins to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.
