Andy Sturtz netted a hat trick to lead the Carleton Place Canadians over the Brockville Braves, 7-4.

Sturtz's first goal came 7:07 into the first period. He then added goals at 19:00 into the first and at 5:57 into the third.

Carleton Place bested its season scoring average. The Canadians average 4.2 goals per game. Carleton Place could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game.

Carleton Place also got points from Jim Roll, who also finished with one goal and two assists. Forest Donovan also scored for Carleton Place.
