Gloucester falls to Kemptville in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Kemptville 73s' Hayden Hanson scored 4:43 into overtime to beat the Gloucester Rangers, 3-2 (OT).

Kemptville came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The 73s fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Gloucester's Luc Deschamps at 2:37 in the second period. Kemptville knotted things up at 2-2 on a power play goal by Jesse Blais at 13:33 in the third period.

The 73s were sparked by Hanson, who had one goal.

Kemptville kept the Rangers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Doug Johnston made 35 saves on 38 shots.

Kemptville additionally got points from Dean Galasso, who also registered one goal and one assist and Blais, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Kemptville came via Brandon Cole, who had two and Cody Hendsbee and Dylan Giberson, who each chipped in one.

The 73s were unable to stop Gloucester from sending pucks towards the net, and the Rangers eventually piled up 36 shots on goal.

Gloucester also got a goal from Maximian Veronneau as well. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Dylan McDiarmid, Ryan Kuffner, and Zak Salloum, who contributed one a piece.

Jacob Lucier made 34 saves for Kemptville on 36 shots. The 73s incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors. Gloucester incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
