Saskatchewan Jr. Pats squeaks by Chicago Jr. Blackhawks, 4-2

Saskatchewan Jr. Pats and Chicago Jr. Blackhawks were evenly matched throughout their contest, but Saskatchewan Jr. Pats made the most of its opportunities and won, 4-2.

Neither team gained more than a two-goal lead, and Calder Ripplinger's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

Saskatchewan Jr. Pats was sparked by Ripplinger, who registered one goal. Ripplinger scored 5:08 into the third period to make the score 3-2 Saskatchewan Jr. Pats. Parker Bell assisted on the tally.

Saskatchewan Jr. Pats' goal total was higher than its season average. Saskatchewan Jr. Pats has scored at the pace of 1.8 goal per game during the current campaign.
