California 03s squeaks by Team Brick Alberta, 3-2

In a game where neither team could get a cushion, California 03s escaped with a 3-2 victory over Team Brick Alberta.

Neither team gained more than a one-goal lead, and Parker Murray's goal in the third period proved to be the difference maker.

California 03s was sparked by Murray, who finished with one goal and one assist. Murray scored 12:13 into the third period to make the score 3-2 California 03s. Ean Somoza assisted on the tally.

California 03s also got points from Arvega Hovsepyan, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Somoza, who also tallied one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Other players who recorded assists for California 03s were Shai Buium and Andre Gasseau, who each chipped in one.

Team Brick Alberta did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. Team Brick Alberta averages 4.3 goals per game.

In addition, Team Brick Alberta received assists from Nicholas DeGraves, Geoff Bjarnason, and Josh Medernach, who contributed one a piece.

California 03s' Luca DiPasquo stopped 23 shots out of the 25 that he faced. California 03s incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Owen Albers rejected 20 shots on goal for Team Brick Alberta. Team Brick Alberta incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
