Honeybaked survived a determined comeback attempt by Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) on the way to a 3-2 win.

A goal by DAMIAN CHRCEK put Honeybaked up 3-0 in the third period, but Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) pulled to within one on Nico Gonzalez's tally 10:06 into the third period.

SCOTT CLARK had a great game for Honeybaked, netting two goals. CLARK scored at 4:53 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Honeybaked and again while 4:28 into the third to make the score 2-0 Honeybaked.

Honeybaked did not rack up many penalties in the contest, tallying a minimal one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

In addition, Honeybaked received assists from BRYAN HOVANEC, ZACH GOODRICH, BRANDON GRILLO, TOM MARCHIN, and ADAM LARKIN, who contributed one a piece.

Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) was led by Justin Simonelli, who had one goal and one assist. Simonelli scored 7:28 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Honeybaked. Michael Coyne picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Buffalo Jr Sabres (MM) were Ryan Cook and Donnie Battista, who each chipped in one.
