The Minot Minotauros' Jadin Martin scored 8:52 into overtime to beat the Austin Bruins, 2-1 (OT). With the win, Minot evened the series at 1-1 in the best of five showdown. The Minotauros were led by goalie Tyler Parks, who finished with 38 saves while allowing one goal. Parks managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.4 prior to the game. Minot was paced by Martin, who tallied one goal. The Minotauros' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Austin power plays. Austin was unable to stop Minot from sending pucks towards the net, and the Minotauros eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Wesley Iverson also scored for Minot. In addition, Minot received assists from Tim Donohue, Cody Milligan, and Mason Morelli, who each chipped in one. The Bruins stifled Minot's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Austin forced the Minotauros goalie Parks to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. The Bruins were led by AJ Reid, who scored the team's only goal. Reid scored 5:30 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Cody Dixon provided the assist. Minot incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Jason Pawloski made 38 saves for Austin on 40 shots. The Bruins incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
