Port Huron downs Johnstown in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

Ian Miller gave the Port Huron Fighting Falcons a 4-3 (OT) victory over the Johnstown Tomahawks when he scored 3:28 into the extra period.

The win by Port Huron clinched the best of three series at 2-1.

The Fighting Falcons came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. Port Huron trailed 3-1 after a goal by Johnstown's Mitch Kontny at 8:45 in the third period. The Fighting Falcons knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Brett DAndrea at 19:25 in the third period.

Port Huron was led by Miller, who tallied one goal and one assist.

The Fighting Falcons' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Johnstown power plays.

Port Huron also got points from Rick DeRosa, who also grabbed one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Port Huron also got a goal from Mitch Maloney as well. Other players who recorded assists for Port Huron were Dan Dupell, who had one.

Brandon Reinholz also scored for Johnstown. In addition, Johnstown received assists from Mitch Hall, Andrew McDonald, and Connor Wright, who each chipped in one.

Max Milosek recorded 26 saves for Port Huron. The Fighting Falcons incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Chris Truehl made 26 saves for the Tomahawks on 30 shots. Johnstown incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
