Corey Kalk lifted the North York Rangers to a 5-3 victory with a hat trick against the St. Michaels Buzzers. Kalk got on the scoresheet 10:47 into the third period. He then added goals at 18:04 into the third and at 18:49 into the third.With the win, North York evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown. St. Michaels' power play was ineffective against the Rangers' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. North York's offense rang up 41 shots on the Buzzers' net. North York also got points from Valadao Adam, who also registered one goal and one assist and John Carpino, who also racked up one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. In addition, North York received assists from Scott Maguire, who had two and Michael Giacometti and Maxwell Novick, who each chipped in one. St. Michaels kept the Rangers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jason Pucciarelli made 51 saves on 54 shots. The Buzzers were led by Shane Conacher, who had two goals and one assist. Conacher scored the first of his two goals at 8:16 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Patrick McCarron picked up the assist. Conacher's next tally made the score 2-1 St. Michaels with 15:12 left in the third period. Matt Galati assisted on the tally. St. Michaels additionally got points from Galati, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for St. Michaels were Jake Clements and Jordan Merante, who contributed one a piece. North York incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Adrian Ignagni rejected 36 shots on goal for St. Michaels. The Buzzers incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
