Team ODHA used a sparkling performance by Bo Taylor to take down Team GTHL Royal, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Team ODHA's 5-0 shutout victory. Martin Frechette was all over the ice for Team ODHA, as he registered two goals in the win. Frechette scored on the power play at 11:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Team ODHA and again while 15:30 into the second to make the score 3-0 Team ODHA. Team ODHA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Team GTHL Royal to score on any of its seven power plays. Team ODHA additionally got points from Andrew Peski, who also racked up one goal and one assist, Nicholas Hamre, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, and Neil Doef, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Team ODHA were Liam Murray and Jeremy McFarlane, who each chipped in one and Zach Salloum and Ian Johnston, who contributed two a piece. Team GTHL Royal could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 26 minutes in penalties during the game. Taylor rejected 27 shots on goal for Team ODHA. Team ODHA registered three goals on 14 power play opportunities. Team GTHL Royal's Jeremy Helvig stopped 29 shots out of the 34 that he faced.
