Helena Bighorns' Damon Hanson had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing one assist in his team's 10-2 win over Yellowstone Quake. Hanson found the back of the net on the power play 10:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Helena Bighorns and again while 15:13 into the first to make the score 3-0 Helena Bighorns.The win by Helena Bighorns clinched the best of five series at 3-0. Helena Bighorns' penalty kill excelled, as Helena Bighorns gave up one goal despite allowing eight power plays. Helena Bighorns forced Yellowstone Quake's goalies to work all game long, firing 73 shots and forcing 63 saves. Jared Schletty made 26 stops and Rocco Yapello made 37. Helena Bighorns additionally got points from Parker Olson, who also had two goals and one assist and Nick Okada, who also registered one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Helena Bighorns included Chris Andre, who had two and Christian Axelson, Ben Henne, and Jacob Wolter, who scored one goal each. In addition, Helena Bighorns received assists from Brandon Rumble, who had four, Theo Campe, Devin Smith, Corbin Belling, Alek Lazarski, and Cody Blom, who each chipped in one, and Dillon Mershon and John Petersson, who contributed two a piece. Yellowstone Quake ended with 29 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. Yellowstone Quake ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Busse was ejected from the game.
