Hannah Baker recorded a shutout against AURORA as WHITBY picked up a 2-0 win.

After the loss made the series score 2-0 in the best of five series, AURORA faces elimination next time out.

WHITBY was led by Krista Yip-Chuck, who had one goal and one assist. Yip-Chuck scored 12:14 into the second period to make the score 1-0 WHITBY.

WHITBY stifled AURORA's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. WHITBY kept AURORA's goalie busy throughout the game, and Paula Voorheis made 29 saves on 31 shots.

Hanna Bunton also scored for WHITBY. Other players who recorded assists for WHITBY were Cassidy Vinkle, who had one.

AURORA put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow WHITBY to score on any of its five power plays.

Baker rejected 25 shots on goal for WHITBY. WHITBY incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. AURORA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
