MISSISSAUGA tried to dig itself out of a three-goal hole, but CAMBRIDGE held on for a 3-1 victory. A goal by Taytum Clairmont put CAMBRIDGE up 3-0 in the second period, but MISSISSAUGA pulled to within two on Hilary Lloyd's tally 19:42 into the third period. CAMBRIDGE was helped by Emma Davidson, who finished with one goal. Davidson scored 3:56 into the second period to make the score 2-0 CAMBRIDGE. Emma Woods assisted on the tally. Angela MacDonald also scored for CAMBRIDGE. In addition, CAMBRIDGE received assists from Brooklyn Irwin, Kaileigh Grant (A), and Amanda McClure, who contributed one a piece. MISSISSAUGA stifled CAMBRIDGE's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. More assists for MISSISSAUGA came via Kaitlin Doering, who had one. CAMBRIDGE incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. MISSISSAUGA's Amelia Boughn stopped 22 shots out of the 25 that she faced. MISSISSAUGA incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
