Valadao Adam had two goals and one assist to lead the North York Rangers to a 4-1 victory over the Buffalo Jr. Sabres.

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Buffalo faces elimination next time out.

North York was led by goalie Jason Pucciarelli, who finished with 41 saves while allowing one goal. Pucciarelli managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.45 prior to the game.

The Jr. Sabres' power play was ineffective against the Rangers' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.
