Leamington falls to London in overtime, 4-3 (OT)

The London Nationals pulled out a 4-3 (OT) overtime victory over the Leamington Flyers on a clutch goal by Derek Todosichuk.

The win by London clinched the best of seven series at 4-1.

Leamington's power play was ineffective against the Nationals' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

London was led by Todosichuk, who racked up one goal. Todosichuk scored 7:40 into overtime to make the score 4-3 London. Matt Wildman picked up the assist.

The Nationals kept the Flyers' goalie busy throughout the game, and Austyn Roudebush made 28 saves on 32 shots.

London also got points from Tyler Bryden, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. London also got a goal from Matt Fuller as well. In addition, London received assists from Noah Schwartz, who had one and Lance Pridham and Sean Consitt, who contributed two a piece.

Leamington forced London goalie Taylor Edwards to work between the pipes, taking 37 shots.

The Flyers were helped by Kyle Bowman, who tallied one goal. Bowman scored 4:49 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Chris Scott provided the assist. Troy Cox also scored for Leamington. More assists for Leamington came via David Dalby, Nick Beaune, Nathan Opblinger, Mitchell Amante, and Eric Leardi, who each chipped in one.

Edwards recorded 34 saves for the Nationals. London incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Leamington incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
