Leamington falls to London in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Matt Wildman gave the London Nationals a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Leamington Flyers when he scored 11:54 into the extra period.

After the loss made the series score 3-1 in the best of seven series, Leamington faces elimination next time out.

London was led by Wildman, who racked up one goal and one assist.

The Nationals stifled the Flyers' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. London forced Leamington goalie Austyn Roudebush to work between the pipes, taking 34 shots.

Noah Schwartz also scored for London. Other players who recorded assists for London were Ryan Wells and Jeff Bauer, who each chipped in one.

The Flyers' offense rang up 41 shots on the Nationals' net.

Leamington was led by Alex Seguin, who finished with one goal and one assist. Seguin scored 15:28 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Leamington. Nick Beaune assisted on the tally. Leamington also got a goal from Kyle Shaw as well. In addition, Leamington received assists from Dakota Olvin, who had one.

Taylor Edwards rejected 39 shots on goal for London. The Nationals incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Flyers' Roudebush stopped 31 shots out of the 34 that he faced. Leamington incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
