The Cobourg Cougars tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Kingston Voyageurs would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 6-5. Kingston made the score 6-4 on a goal by David Quesnele at 6:21 in the third period, and Cobourg got as close as 6-5 when Jake Emilio scored 14:10 into the third period. The win by the Voyageurs clinched the best of seven series at 4-1. Francesco Vilardi was all over the ice for Kingston, as he tallied one goal and three assists in the win. Vilardi scored 8:38 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Kingston. Brandon O Quinn picked up the assist. The Voyageurs made Cougars' netminders to work between the pipes, ripping 34 shots and forcing 28 saves. CJ Sharp made zero stops and Evan Cormier APM made 28. Kingston's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Cobourg power plays. Kingston also got points from O Quinn, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Scott Mossman, who also grabbed one goal and two assists. Alex Tonge also scored for Kingston. In addition, Kingston received assists from Aidan Wright and Dylan Hutton, who each chipped in one. The Cougars' offense rang up 39 shots on the Voyageurs' net. Cobourg was led by Colbie Andrews, who tallied three goals. Cobourg additionally got points from Emilio, who also had one goal and one assist. Cobourg also got a goal from Nick Weiss APJ as well. More assists for Cobourg came via Evan Jasper, who had one and Justin Danforth, Connor Armour, and Taylor Gauld, who each chipped in two. Charlie Finn rejected 34 shots on goal for Kingston. The Voyageurs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Cougars incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
