The Minnesota Flying Aces had trouble finding ways to stop the North Iowa Bulls, which beat Flying Aces, 6-0.

The win by North Iowa clinched the best of five series at 3-0.

The Bulls were paced by Timothy Santopoalo, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Santopoalo scored 12:42 into the first period to make the score 1-0 North Iowa. Chancie Hanson picked up the assist.

North Iowa forced Minnesota goalie Jared Stearns to work between the pipes, taking 44 shots.

North Iowa also got points from Matt Kroska, who also racked up one goal and one assist and Matthew Fosdick, who also had one goal and one assist. North Iowa also got a goal from Kyle Krueger as well. In addition, North Iowa received assists from Patrick Sivets, who had two and Eric Behrend, Richie Marenis, James Hughes, Taylor Brown, and Matthew Bartels, who contributed one a piece.

The Flying Aces did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time.

Matthew Bartels made 22 saves for the Bulls on 22 shots. North Iowa incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Stearns recorded 38 saves for Minnesota. The Flying Aces registered zero goals on two power play opportunities.
